SEO-Sushi is the brainchild of Seriously Helpful Online Marketing – one of the UK's most trusted Digital Agencies with origins back to 2007 in the UK’s largest SEO agency with 55 staff, in 5 offices on 3 continents. After being acquired by a quoted PLC, some of the key staff branched out to form Seriously Helpful, a boutique agency with two simple goals – to be a Seriously Helpful partner for clients, and to take our expertise to smaller companies & owner-managed businesses with ambitions.
We wanted to level the playing field by giving back so even those without five figure budgets can compete against the big boys. SEO-Sushi takes those proven principles to a bold new level – Helpful, but with crazyily low barriers of entry (less than £1/day) for high quality advice from a team with years of Online Marketing experience. - Analyse your website and identify what’s holding you back.
- Explain to you what the problem is. And we'll handpick something new to focus on each month until we run out of things to help you fix to improve.
- Provide detailed notes so you can start fixing things yourself – or tell your developers.
- Give you a full list of how frequently the problem occurs – so we don’t end up duplicating effort by reporting a similar problem next month.
- Once the program has been running a while we will also be able to target your preferred customers and locations more directly.
That’s it. Advice uniquely tailored to you at a very low monthly cost. No long term commitment, No nasty surprises or big recurring bills for things you can quickly delegate or even learn to do yourself. And if you get stuck, you have a priority option to ask us to provide hands on assistance at a low hourly rate.
Then if, like many of our clients, your business grows to such an extent that you no longer have the time, we offer competitively priced monthly packages to take everything over and regularly report back on progress so you stay in control and get value for money.

So Whats Included?
One thing that’s not included is an onerous contract with lots of small print or clauses to lock you in. You can stop SEO-Sushi with just three months’ notice - giving us time to recoup some of our up-front investment in your business. Another thing not included is surprise invoices and extra costs. You pay just £19.95 a month* and this should typically be all you need. If you do find that occasionally a few hours extra assistance might come in handy, we can help and will agree a low fixed cost in advance so you can budget. You are never under any obligation to purchase more than the monthly SEO Sushi subscription.
For this small monthly fee our work will include:
- A comprehensive assessment of all your website.
- An initial internal ranking of issues found – so if we find anything really major holding you back, this will be our priority advice to you at no extra cost. So it’s a great way to double check the work of your web developers.
- Each month we will focus our report to you on one core topic that we consider is an issue holding you back in search engine algorithms and rankings / SERPS which will typically be costing you sales leads. It may be a single problem impacting one area, the whole website, or repeated multiple times. If its the latter we will aim to try and report on it once only so you dont waste budget.
- We will provide a comprehensive and easy to follow Sushi Guide tailored to your specific issue – something that you should be able to follow yourself even if you are not particularly technical. These Guides build up into a pool of knowledge for later reference - and all for the low price of £19.95 a month.
- From time to time, subject to time availability, we may offer SEO-Subscribers priority discounted access to new services as we develop them or a discount off managed services, that's worth £19.95 a month on its own!
- All year round lower-cost access to our content creators – useful to add newsworthy content to your News Feed, Blog or Social Media.

Website Design Analysis
Our service will include an impartial assessment of your website design - we will focus on how this will impact your performance in delivering leads from search engines. But if we spot other opportunities to improve, it would be remiss of us not to say so. We don't provide website building so you know we are not suggesting change for the sake of it.
Social Media & Blogging Guidance
A strong social prescence influences search engine algorithms and impacts how much traffic, sales, leads or sign-ups you will get online. But its easy to do too much, or the wrong thing, wasting time and resource. So we guide you here too.
Meta Data - Vital Yet Hidden
Often called the secret part of Online Marketing this is in fact the non-public-facing part of the coding that makes up your website in the form of keywords and other attributes that describe the pages. This important content is not read by all engines all the time or even in the same way but is important as it can be used by engines like Google to summarise what you do, sometimes in truncated form - so expect more than a few recommendations in this area as well.

For over a decade we have been almost lone voices in the SEO world advocating strong content as both an effective and safe way ahead - we will expand on this in our recommendations and give you an idea how you can effectively plan ahead.
Schema Mark-Up
A recent addition to the world of search and probably in the same part of the Sushi menu as meta, this is a highly complex kind of shorthand code that further decribes to engines like Google what they are seeing, so they can do less interegation themselves spending money on energy or expensive data analysis and interpretation. We wont implement schema for you within SEO Sushi but we will guide you on what to do - so you'll probably know more than your webmaster.
Technical SEO
The SEO Sushi menu has a lot of ingredients, some technical, but many are the nuts and bolts that help hold everything together to make your website work. So as examples we might make recomendations here about your choice of URL, how you are hosting your website and the many factors that can slow it down or put the search engines off you versus others.
Email (outbound)
We dont provide email services ourselves (we sold our prior agency to the largest email platform in the UK) but if you have names to mail it is often the cheapest source of lead generation. Its a strategy that sits perfectly alongside SEO and Social which can help gather names for your list. So again we will provide relevant advice to supplement what you know and do.
Video Marketing
We dont produce videos but we know how this content can influence your prominence online, aided of course by the fact that Google now own YouTube so have a vested interest in many other businesses. We help ensure you implement this kind of content in the right way with the right balance versus other content and host it in the optimum way.
Conversion Rate Optimisation
